Building a Remarkable Brand & Culture: My Experience with Brand Builders Group

Recently, I had the privilege of attending an in-person training event in Nashville, TN, hosted by Brand Builders Group (BBG) a personal branding strategy firm. As a member and client of BBG, I went into the event expecting to glean valuable insights and actionable tips—I left with that and much more.

From the moment I stepped into the building, I sensed something extraordinary. The atmosphere wasn’t just welcoming; it was filled with excitement and a sense of purpose and community. It quickly became evident that BBG’s founders, Rory and AJ Vaden, have not only built a business but nurtured a culture that thrives on passion and a shared mission to make a meaningful impact.

Over the course of two days, I was struck by how, as a client, I began to feel part of their remarkable mission. It’s a testament to BBG’s commitment to building a culture and brand driven by authenticity, purpose, and a genuine desire to empower others.

In conversations with Amy LaVallie, one of their tenured Brand Strategist, who I’ve worked with over the course of several months, I gained deeper insights into what makes BBG truly special. “What sets BBG apart,” she shared, “is our collective dedication to a vision larger than ourselves. We stand together in championing our clients’ dreams, alongside some of the most dedicated and brilliant individuals I’ve had the pleasure to work with.”

This experience and Amy’s comments, reinforced my strong belief that creating a thriving company culture isn’t just about perks or parties (although those are nice too) —it’s about aligning values with actions and surrounding yourself with like-minded, mission-driven individuals. BBG exemplifies how when you build with purpose, attract those who share that purpose, and take care of your people, brand success naturally follows.

Thank you, Rory and AJ for confirming that remarkable brands are indeed built from the inside out. I’m proud to be associated with such an incredible group.
